2014 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl
Score: Air Force 38, Western Michigan 24
Details: The Broncos finished 8-5 with a loss to the Falcons, who took control by turning a 10-6 second-quarter deficit into a 23-10 lead late in the third quarter. Western Michigan got a huge game from wide receiver Corey Davis, who caught TD passes of 47, 35 and 51 yards.
2015 Bahamas Bowl
Score: Western Michigan 45, Middle Tennessee 31
Details: On the strength of TD plays of 62, 80, 46 and 68 yards, the Broncos outlasted the Blue Raiders. Jamauri Bogan rushed for 215 yards and four TDs, including a pair of 1-yard runs in the final 6:12 to seal the win. Zach Terrell passed for 297 yards and two TDs for Western Michigan.
2017 Cotton Bowl
Score: No. 8 Wisconsin 24, Western Michigan 16 (Played Jan. 2)
Details: The Mid-American Conference champion Broncos entered the game with a 13-0 record and were the Group of Five representative in the New Year’s Six bowls. Wisconsin took control early with two first-quarter TD runs. Western Michigan trailed 14-7 and 17-10 before the Badgers sealed the win with a TD early in the fourth quarter. The Broncos made it 24-16 with 3:27 left, but Wisconsin recovered the ensuing onside kick.
