The No. 6-ranked Gophers volleyball team rallied to beat No. 7 Wisconsin 23-25, 25-20, 21-25, 25-15, 15-13 on Wednesday night in a matchup of Big Ten powers that took just over 2½ hours in Madison, Wis.
Freshman Stephanie Samedy had a kill to give the Gophers (14-2, 3-2 Big Ten) a 14-13 lead in the fifth set and then the Badgers (11-3, 2-3) committed a hitting error on match point. Sophomore Alexis Hart led the visitors with a career-high 24 kills while freshman Jasmyn Martin had a season-high 17.
Samedy finished with 15 kills and 16 digs.
