Dennis Dottin-Carter, who’s in his first season as Gophers defensive line coach, was dismissed Friday, a source with knowledge of the situation confirmed to the Minnesota Star Tribune.
Dottin-Carter, who spent the previous two seasons as a senior defensive analyst for the Gophers, was part of a coaching staff that oversaw a defense that gave up 23.4 points per game, which ranked 58th nationally and 13th among Big Ten teams. He replaced Winston DeLattiboudere III, who left to become defensive line coach with the Arizona Cardinals.
Dottin-Carter, 44, joined the Gophers in 2023 after stints at Yale, Connecticut, Delaware and Maine, his alma mater.
