There has been plenty of Gophers recruiting buzz this summer and early fall, but so far, no commitments.

As of now, Minnesota is the only Big Ten school without a commitment for 2014.

All of that could change today.

Seattle power forward, Josh Martin, one of the Gophers top targets for his class, is expected to make his decision later tonight. After returning from an official visit this weekend at Pittsburgh, Martin said that his mind is made. The three-star athlete will be choosing between Minnesota, Pitt and Florida State. He has officially visited all three. Many close to the situation (including myself) believe that the Gophers are the overwhelming favorite. Martin, a versatile big who can also play on the wing, would provide some greatly needed depth in the Gophers frontcourt.

Other recruiting news:

**Wisconsin point guard Riley LaChance returned from his final official visit this weekend, to Iowa. His high school coach, Brookfield Central's Mark Adams said that LaChance – who by all accounts enjoyed his Iowa visit very much -- is wanting to make his decision within the week. LaChance is choosing between Iowa, Minnesota, Vanderbilt and Creighton. More on that to come later today.

**JUCO shooting guard Carlos "Squirrel" Morris returned to Florida last night after officialling at Minnesota this weekend. The Chipola college guard seems to have enjoyed his visit immensely – calling it "a good fit" and a "family environment" -- and loved that Gophers fans chanted his name at Saturday's football game. Morris plans to fit an official visit to UAB in the next couple of weeks, in between two jamborees, and then "I will probably make my decision," he said. Also more on this to come.

**Florida shooting guard Adonys Henriquez committed to Central Florida on Sunday. The Gophers had been recruiting Henriquez, but UCF had widely been considered the strong favorite.
