The Gophers volleyball team plays its final regular-season match against Indiana at 6 p.m. Saturday in Bloomington, Ind.

The No. 4-ranked Gophers clinched at least a share of their second Big Ten title on Wednesday with a five-set home victory over No. 15 Ohio State. That improved their home record to 13-0, matching a program record for consecutive wins at home in one season. Their only other conference championship came in 2002.

A Gophers victory at Indiana or a Nebraska loss at home to Penn State on Saturday would mean an outright title.

Indiana (16-15, 6-13) lost 3-0 to the Gophers in Minneapolis on Oct.28, when the home team hit .308 and the Hoosiers .107.

A victory by the Gophers (25-4, 17-2) also would probably assure them of one of the top four seeds in the NCAA tournament, too, because they are No. 3 in the latest Ratings Percentage Index rankings (record and strength of schedule) — one of the key criteria the selection committee uses for seeding and at-large bids.

The 64-team field will be announced at 8 p.m. Sunday on ESPNU. First- and second-round matches will be held Dec. 4-5 at campus sites. The 16 survivors will compete in regionals in Des Moines; Austin, Texas; Lexington, Ky., and San Diego.
