• Sophomore Taylor Chell hit a grand slam in the sixth inning to lead the Gophers to a 4-0 softball victory over Concordia (St. Paul) on Friday in the first game of a doubleheader at Cowles Stadium. Kendyl Lindaman had three hits, including a homer, as Minnesota won the second game 8-0 in six innings.
