Robert Thomas and Alex Pietrangelo scored 12 seconds apart late in the third period as the St. Louis Blues rallied for a 5-4 victory over the Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday night.

Thomas recorded his second goal of the game with 64 seconds left on the rebound of a loose shot and Pietrangelo followed by rifling a shot off the skate of Anaheim's Adam Henrique and past goalie John Gibson with 52 seconds remaining for his 12th goal of the season.

Pietrangelo, Brayden Schenn and Ryan O'Reilly each had a goal and an assist for St. Louis, which scored three times on the power play has won 14 of its past 18 games and moved four points ahead of the Wild in the Central Division standings. Vladimir Tarasenko and Colton Parayko each had two assists and Jordan Binnington stopped 23 shots.

Jaycob Megna had a goal and an assist for Anaheim. Nick Ritchie, Rickard Rakell and Adam Henrique also scored.

Washington 5, Philadelphia 3: Braden Holtby stopped 27 shots for his 250th career victory, and Alex Ovechkin had a goal and an assist to pull within a point of 1,200 for his career in the Capitals' victory over the host Flyers.

Holtby reached the mark in his 409th career contest to become the second-fastest goalie to get to 250 victories. Ken Dryden did it in 381 games.

Vegas 2, Calgary 1: Deryk Engelland scored with 10:30 left in the third period and the host Golden Knights beat the Pacific Division-leading Flames.

Vancouver 3, Toronto 2 (OT): Alex Edler scored 3:11 into overtime as the host Canucks rallied past the Maple Leafs, who led 2-0 after two periods.
