March 17, 2010 at 5:38PM

Chaska used a balanced offensive attack to take a 35-31 lead over St. Francis into halftime of the Class 4A girls' basketball quarterfinals.

A back-and-forth first half saw unseeded St. Francis jump out to a 10-4 lead on No. 4-seeded Chaska before the Hawks rallied to take a comfortable lead, only to see the Fighting Saints end the half strong to get within four at the break.

The winner will face Lakeville North in tomorrow evening's semifinals.
