You love your home, but it probably has a few features that you love less than others.

If you're thinking about remodeling and wondering how to make the most of your home — and your budget — mark your calendar for March 26. That's the date for "Inspired House," a panel discussion about home design and remodeling, featuring local architects.

It's a chance to chat with architects about your remodeling project and also see the winners of this year's Home of the Month contest, which will be announced that night. The contest showcases the best in local homes designed or remodeled by architects, and the event is sponsored by the Minnesota chapter of the American Institute of Architects and the Star Tribune.

Who knows? The home makeover you're dreaming of today could end up as one of next year's winners.
