Get ready for lane restrictions on I-35W in Minneapolis Tuesday night

Construction season is slowly ramping up, and a couple of overnight projects will impact motorists Tuesday night into Wednesday morning in Minneapolis and Roseville.

Construction season is slowly ramping up, and a couple of overnight projects will impact motorists Tuesday night into Wednesday morning in Minneapolis and Roseville.

The big one will be one will be on I-35W between Stinson Blvd. and Hwy. 280. The right two northbound lanes will close at 10 p.m. and then all but one lane will be closed starting at midnight. All lanes will reopen at 6 a.m. Wednesday.

One left lane of southbound I-35W also will be closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

In Roseville, construction work in the median will bring a left lane closure on westbound Hwy. 36 between Hamline Avenue and Fairview Avenue in Roseville. The restriction will be in place from 10 p.m. Tuesday until 6 a.m. Wednesday, the Minnesota Department of Transportation said.
