Gameday preview: Wolves at Houston

Rockets have won five of past six

Preview: This will be the third game vs. the Rockets this season, but the first away from Target Center. The Wolves are 1-1 vs. Houston, letting a late lead slip away in an overtime loss Dec. 17, then rebounding with a 119-105 victory Jan. 11, one of the team's best victories this season. The Wolves are 11-9 in their past 20 games. Houston came out of the break with a 30-point victory in New Orleans. It was the fifth win in six games for Houston, which has the third-best record in the NBA.

Players to watch: Towns has averaged 32 points in two games vs. Houston this season. Ricky Rubio had 17 assists in the Jan. 11 victory. Houston G James Harden has averaged 30.5 points, 12.5 assists and 7.5 rebounds in two games vs. the Wolves this season. F Ryan Anderson has averaged 23 points and 6.5 rebounds with 40 percent shooting from three-point range in two games vs. Minnesota.

Injuries: Wolves G Zach LaVine (knee surgery) and F Adreian Payne (illness) are out. Houston reports no injuries.
