Players to watch: Nuggets point guard Ty Lawson had 29 points, 12 assists and five rebounds in a home victory over Dallas on Wednesday and is averaging 17.0 points and 10.1 assists a game. He ranks second in the NBA in assists. … Denver power forward Kenneth Faried recorded a double-double in seven of his past 10 games before Friday.

Injuries: Wolves G Kevin Martin and C Nikola Pekovic (ankle/foot) are listed as doubtful, but there's a chance Martin could play. G Ricky Rubio (sprained ankle) and F Shabazz Muhammad (outer oblique strain) remain out. Denver F Danilo Gallinari (knee), G Randy Foye (quadriceps strain) and C JaVale McGee (leg strain) are listed as out. F Wilson Chandler (knee strain) and F Darrell Arthur (hamstring tightness) are listed as probable.
