Preview: Fresh off the high of Kevin Garnett's return Wednesday — one that resulted in the Wolves' most lopsided victory of the year — the team hits the road to play a Bulls team reeling from the loss of guard Derrick Rose to yet another knee surgery. There is a chance Garnett could be rested Friday and play Saturday at home. The Wolves have won two of their past three games and five of their last eight. In their first game without Rose the Bulls lost to the Hornets on Wednesday.

Players to watch: Wolves F Andrew Wiggins is coming off a 19-point, two-block performance vs. Washington. He has averaged 23.0 points on 27-for-52 (51.9 percent) shooting in his past three games. C Nikola Pekovic has double-doubles in four consecutive games. G Kevin Martin, in his past three games, is averaging 26.0 points and shooting 51 percent. Bulls F Pau Gasol is coming off a 25-point, 13-rebound performance against the Hornets.

Numbers: The Wolves' victory at Chicago in January of 2014 ended a six-game losing streak in Chicago. The Wolves are coming off their best defensive performance of the year, holding Washington to 37.9 percent shooting.

Injuries: Wolves F Anthony Bennett (right leg), F Robbie Hummel (broken hand) and F Shabazz Muhammad (finger) are out. Bulls G Rose (knee) is out.
