Preview: The Wild, which had the NHL's fifth-best record in 2015 (49-24-10, 108 points, .651 points percentage), opened a four-game road trip with a 3-1 win Thursday at St. Louis. It has won three of its past four and is 3-1-2 in its past six road games. The Wild, 12-5-2 all-time vs. the Lightning, beat the defending Eastern Conference champs 1-0 in St. Paul on Nov. 7. The Lightning is 2-3-1 in its past six.

Players to watch: In 2015, Wild G Devan Dubnyk ranked second in the NHL with 43 wins, fourth with a 2.02 goals-against average, fifth with a .928 save percentage, tied for first with nine shutouts and third with 4,035 minutes. LW Nino Niederreiter has two goals and six assists in the past eight games. C/RW Charlie Coyle has three goals and two assists in the past five games. … Lightning F Steven Stamkos had the third-most goals (39) and third-most power-play goals (16) in 2015. RW Nikita Kucherov is on a seven-game point streak (two goals, 11 points).

Numbers: The Lightning is 9-for-29 on the power play the past five games. The Wild ranks 27th in the NHL on the penalty kill (77.3 percent) and ranks 28th on the road on the power play (12.2 percent).

Injuries: Wild LW Zach Parise (knee) and C Eric Haula (sore) are questionable and G Darcy Kuemper (concussion) is out. Lightning LW Ondrej Palat (ankle) and G Ben Bishop (undisclosed) are questionable.
