Preview: The Timberwolves get a Grizzlies team firing on all cylinders. Memphis has won eight in a row, the longest current winning streak in the Western Conference, and has won 12 of its last 13 games, moving into the second spot in the conference standings.

Players to watch: Wolves G Kevin Martin is coming off his 80th game with 30 or more points and his fourth this season. F Thad Young has averaged 17.2 points on 48.4 percent shooting over his last 11 games. Memphis' Zach Randolph, Marc Gasol and Kosta Koufos combined for 51 points and 22 rebounds against the Utah Jazz on Wednesday.

Numbers: Wednesday was the fifth time this season the Wolves shot better than 50 percent. ... The Wolves are 0-11 vs. Southwest Division foes this season.

Injuries: Wolves F Robbie Hummel (broken hand) and F Shabazz Muhammad (oblique strain) are out; G Mo Williams (hip) is questionable; G Zach LaVine (ankle) is probable. Memphis G Vince Carter (foot) is out; G Jordan Adams (ankle) is questionable.
