New kid on the pitch: United has added 21-year-old Yago Moreira Silva from Brazil to help shore up its midfielder ranks. On loan from Brazilian Série A club Vasco da Gama, he will be with the Loons as they try for their first victory of the fall season.

United at a glance: Minnesota (15 points) followed a fall season-opening loss at Carolina with a 1-1 draw at home against Ottawa on Saturday. Forward Pablo Campos leads the club with four goals, which is good for fourth best in the NASL. Defender Tiago Calvano (one goal, one assist) has played all 1,080 minutes this season while fellow defender Justin Davis (one goal) has played 1,079. Christian Ramirez (two goals, one assist) has made 43 consecutive appearances for United in all competitions.

Jacksonville at a glance: The Armada presents a potent offense, one that leads the NASL in shots this season. Forwards Pascal Millien (four goals, one assist), Jemal Johnson (three goals, one assist) and Alhassane Keita (three goals) lead the front line. Midfielders Marcos Flores and Bochy Hoyos each have two goals.

Next time out: On Saturday, Minnesota faces Liga MX's Club León, one of the top clubs in the world and a seven-time Mexican first-division champion. Former United star Miguel Ibarra will play one half for each team.
