Minnesota United FC gameday

3 p.m. VS. Edmonton • nsc stadium, Blaine

Live broadcast available online at MNUnitedFC.com.

Preview: Halfway through the fall season, Minnesota is in worse shape than at the same point in the spring season. A record of 2-3-2 has yielded eight points, tied with Edmonton for sixth in the eight-team North American Soccer League. Minnesota must win the fall season to reach the postseason.

United FC at a glance: Minnesota's eight goals scored ranks fourth in the NASL, but coach Manny Lagos nevertheless believes players are struggling with their confidence on offense. United took a 1-0 loss at New York last week, and Lagos said his team, while strong defensively, was too often a play away from a scoring chance.

FC Edmonton at a glance: Five consecutive draws will have the "Eddies" hungry for a victory. Edmonton's six goals scored is last in the NASL, but the team is tied for first in fewest goals allowed with six.
