Preview: The Wild trails 2-0 in the best-of-seven Western Conference semifinals, the fourth time in five rounds that the Wild has trailed a series 2-0. It’s the third consecutive season it trailed the Blackhawks 2-0. It did win Games 3 and 4 at home last year to even the series before losing in six games. After going 5-1 in the playoffs at home last year, the Wild is 2-1 this year. The Blackhawks are 10-3 in three years in the playoffs against Minnesota.

Players to watch: Blackhawks RW Patrick Kane, who led all players with eight points in four games against the Wild in the regular season, has six goals and 12 points in 13 career playoff games against the Wild. That includes three game-winning goals. He is riding a five-game playoff point streak and has 101 playoff points in 101 games. D Duncan Keith leads all NHL defensemen with 10 points. RW Marian Hossa has 17 points in 13 career playoff games against the Wild. Wild LW Zach Parise leads with four goals, five assists and nine points. D Matt Dumba has two of the Wild’s six power-play goals.

Numbers: Since 2010, the Blackhawks have won five series up 2-0. … Blackhawks G Corey Crawford is 10-3 in 13 career postseason games against the Wild with a 1.71 goals-against average and .937 save percentage. … After going 25-0-0 when leading after two periods during the regular season, the Blackhawks are 3-0 in the playoffs.
