The freshman left winger scored the Gophers' first goal -- on a power play -- and had three assists, one on the winning goal.

TURNING POINT

The 16th minute of the second period. With the score tied 2-2, defenseman Seth Helgeson and forward Jake Hansen scored 29 seconds apart to make it 4-2 Gophers. Rau had assists on both those goals.
