Game Day: Indiana at Wolves

Preview: The Timberwolves have won two of their past three games, all against teams with winning records. They are coming off a 120-108 victory in Houston in which the team scored a franchise-record 42 third-quarter points. The Pacers have won five of seven games, including a victory over New Jersey on Tuesday.

Players to watch: In his third game back after missing 11 because of a foot sprain, F Michael Beasley tied a franchise record with 34 points off the bench Monday. G Ricky Rubio has scored in double figures in four of six games, getting a double-double in each of those games. F Kevin Love has scored 29 points or more in four of five games. The Pacers have five players averaging 10.9 or more points per game, led by F Danny Granger (17.2 points, 4.4 rebounds) and C Roy Hibbert (13.8, 9.6).

Numbers: The Wolves have averaged 112.1 points per game in their past eight with the Pacers. In three games with C Nikola Pekovic in the starting lineup, the Wolves have averaged 54.6 points in the paint per game. This after averaging 35.9 before that.

Injuries: Wolves G Malcolm Lee (knee surgery) is out. C Darko Milicic (illness) and G J.J. Barea (hamstring) are questionable. For Indiana, C Jeff Foster (back) is out.
