Duluth lynching remembered

Around fifty people gathered at the graves of Elias Clayton, Elmer Jackson and Issac McGhie at Park Hill Cemetery in Duluth on Monday, June 14, 2021. The group took space to honor and remember the three men who were lynched in the streets of Duluth on June 15, 1920, 101 years ago.

First day of legislative special session

The Minnesota Legislature convenes for the first day of what's expected to be a prolonged special session to pass a two-year, $52 billion state budget. Leaders met all weekend in the lead up to special session Monday to try and finalize deals on a number of issues, including police reform and education funding.
