1. The WCHA has won 36 NCAA men's hockey titles since the conference was formed in 1951.
2. The two WCHA teams playing in the 2011 Frozen Four have combined for seven national titles. North Dakota has won seven, Minnesota Duluth none. Just trying to be silly here.
3. The Fighing Sioux have won only one title this century, in 2000. North Dakota's previous titles were in 1959, '63, '80, '82, '87, '97 and 2000.
4, North Dakota is on a 15-game unbeaten streak (14-0-1); the Sioux's last loss was on Jan. 28 to Colorado College. Minnesota Duluth has won two in a row after losing 3-2 to Bemidji State in overtime in the WCHA Final Five quarterfinals.
5. This is the fifth Frozen Four in St. Paul. The first three were held in the old St. Paul Civic Center, the last one at the Xcel.
