Remember the big story from a month ago, when Oregon's LeGarrette Blount punched Boise State's Byron Hout after a game? Well, the team suspended Blount for the season. Perfect. End of story. Or not?

According to the Oregonian, a decision on reinstatement could come today.

Oregon running back LeGarrette Blount, suspended for the season after his postgame tirade at Boise State on Sept. 3, could be reinstated after all. Ducks coach Chip Kelly will discuss Blount's status after today's practice, and a release Thursday night from the school said Kelly's plan "could include Blount's potential reinstatement prior to the conclusion of the 2009 season."

Should he be reinstated? Well, that all depends on how you feel about what he did and, also, about second chances. Blount has apparently been following a plan set in place after the incident, and on Thursday he had a letter of apology published in the Oregon student paper, according to ESPN.com. Contrition probably counts for something, but is there too much ground to make up after something like that?

A poll attached to the Oregonian story suggests fans are roughly 50/50 split on whether LeGarrette should be reinstated. What say you, RandBallers? To help you make your decision and to refresh your memory, here is the incident in question one more time.
