• MINNESOTA STATE MANKATO 2, BEMIDJI STATE 1 (OT): Channing Boe scored 2:32 into overtime as the Mavericks edged the Beavers on Friday night in Mankato, despite a strong effort by Bemidji State goalie Dan Bakala.The Mavericks outshot the Beavers 43-19, but Bakala kept the visitors in the game by making 41 saves. He was especially busy in the first period, when the Beavers were outshot 15-2.

Ben Youds scored 13:19 into the first period to give MSU Mankato a 1-0 lead, and the score stayed that way until Bemidji State's Jordan George scored with 2:25 left in the third period.

• COLORADO COLLEGE 3, DENVER 2: Archie Skalbeck and William Rapuzzi scored 56 seconds apart, giving the Tigers a quick start in a victory over the Pioneers in Colorado Springs. Alexander Krushelnyski also scored for Colorado College, which moved past the Gophers into sixth place in the WCHA. Drew Shore scored in the second period and Kyle Ostrow with 23 seconds left in the third for Denver, which missed a chance to pass idle North Dakota for first place in the conference.

• NEBRASKA-OMAHA 3, ST. CLOUD STATE 0: John Faulkner made 33 saves for the shutout and the Mavericks got three goals in the span of 1:41 early in the second period in a victory over the Huskies in Omaha. UNO's Eric Olimb opened the scoring at 3:22 of the second. Brock Montpetit made it 2-0 at 4:37, and Matt Ambroz completed the scoring 26 seconds later. Mike Lee stopped 26 shots for St. Cloud State.

• ALASKA ANCHORAGE 4, MICHIGAN TECH 1: Curtis Leinweber scored twice as the Seawolves extended the Huskies' winless streak to 23 games (0-21-2).

• North Dakota forward Danny Kristo, who suffered frostbite to toes on his right foot while walking near campus on Sunday night, has full use of all of his extremities, hospital officials said Thursday. Kristo, a sophomore from Eden Prairie, was listed in fair condition at Regions Hospital in St. Paul.
