Brodi Larson hit Tim Lindquist with a 24-yard scoring pass with 16 seconds left to rally Mahtomedi to a 35-28 victory over Simley on Friday night.

The senior quarterback also connected with Andrew Praml for a score earlier in the game.

Even Johnson returned the game’s opening kickoff 91 yards to give the Spartans an early lead.

Senior quarterback Jake Binley led Simley’s offense to a pair of touchdowns. His first was an 8-yard run followed by a 29-yard pass to Johnson.

Becker 56, Chisago Lakes 44: Quarterback Josh Fobbe had a hand in five touchdowns as the Bulldogs beat the Wildcats. The two teams traded the lead throughout the first half and into the second, with Becker pulling ahead for good late in the third quarter on a pair of runs by Fobbe.

Henry Trost led the Wildcats offense with three touchdowns on the ground, including one from 89 yards out. The other two were both over 50 yards.

SMB 41, Academy Force 13: Sophomore Jalen Suggs had four touchdowns for the Wolfpack. He threw for three and added a 24-yard run to the end zone. His first touchdown pass was a 66-yard connection to Terry Lockett, Jr.

The Wolfpack defense scored twice on interception returns by Kaden Johnson and Emrick Mundschenk.

Freshman Ben Teigland threw a pair of touchdown passes to junior Cooper Falteisek for Academy Force.

New Prague 56, Red Wing 8: Seniors Connor Scharf and Tyler Montanye ran for a combined five touchdowns to lead the Trojans over the Wingers. All of their scoring runs were under 10 yards.

Early in the second quarter Nate Berg connected with Carter Seymour on a 23-yard touchdown pass.

Cale Jallen and Connor McWilliams also rushed for two touchdowns.

Junior quarterback Marcus Walm rushed for the Wingers’ lone touchdown.

South St. Paul 34, Tartan 6: Senior quarterback Cade Sexauer threw two touchdowns to lead the Packers offense in the first half.

Senior Chase Benston took over in the second half with a pair of touchdowns of his own in the third quarter.

Sam Rohrer kicked two field goals and made every extra point opportunity.

Alexandria 34, Andover 28: Chandler Cole scored on a 58-yard run with just over three minutes left to lift the Cardinals over the Huskies. Quarterback Connor Knoepfle hit Lucas Beberg with a 20-yard scoring pass with five minutes left to tie the score.

Mound Westonka 19, St. Paul Highland Park 17: Senior Jonathan Neve kicked four field goals, including a game-winning 25-yarder with 36 seconds left in the game.

Tight end Thomas Elliot scored the White Hawks’ lone touchdown on a pass from Brady Hokkanen.

North Branch 50, Princeton 30: Aaron Robillard ran for 176 yards and four touchdowns and threw for 284 yards and two more scores to lead the Vikings over the Tigers.

Jordan 51, Worthington 21: Senior Jonathan Draheim threw five touchdown passes, including a 50-yarder to Ryan Samuelson, to lift the Hubmen over the Trojans.

Northfield 31, Mankato East 14: Junior running back Mitchell Stanchina rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown and caught seven passes for 163 yards to pace the visiting Raiders to the victory.
