• ST. CLOUD STATE 4, MINNESOTA DULUTH 2: Sophomore forward Jonny Brodzinski scored two third-period goals for the No. 2 Huskies (10-1-2, 5-1-1 NCHC) to break a 2-2 against the No. 20 Bulldogs (6-6-1, 2-3-0) at Amsoil Arena.

• NORTH DAKOTA 3, WESTERN MICHIGAN 2: Luke Johnson scored power-play goals in the first and second periods to lead visiting UND (6-7-2, 4-5-0 NCHC) over the Broncos (6-6-3, 2-3-0).

• MINNESOTA STATE MANKATO 3, NORTHERN MICHIGAN 2: Matt Leitner's power-play goal midway through the third period gave the host Mavericks (8-7, 6-3 WCHA) the victory over the Wildcats (6-7-2, 4-4-1).

• BEMIDJI ST. 2, MICHIGAN TECH 2 (OT), tie: Sophomore Cory Ward of the Beavers (5-8-4, 5-4-2 WCHA) scored the game's first and final goals — his 10th and 11th of the season — but in between the host Huskies (6-8-3, 4-3-2) also scored twice in a 27 seconds early in the third period.

• WISCONSIN 7, PENN STATE 1: Joe LaBate had a goal and two assists as the No. 17 Badgers (5-5-1, 1-2-0 Big Ten) routed the visiting Nittany Lions (3-8-1, 0-1-0).
