Winter farmers market
If you've been missing your favorite farmers market during the winter months, here's a cold-weather alternative. Bachman's, which started in 1885 as a fresh vegetable stand, is hosting its second winter farmers market in its flagship store's greenhouse on Saturday.
The first winter market in January was so well-attended that Bachman's decided to extend its hours, expand its space and add a third market on March 23. Visitors will find local foods, from baked goods to cheeses to canned goods to beer, as well as food trucks and non-food vendors.
