FRANKIE VALLI HITS 'JERSEY BOYS' STAGE

The "Jersey Boys" fever continues. Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons are coming Oct. 23 to the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis, where "Jersey Boys" had a boffo run this spring. Faster than you can say "walk like a man," Valli sold out the Mystic Lake Casino Showroom in May. Backed by a young dance-happy quartet, the 74-year-old pop icon didn't move around much but was in fine voice, reprising that famous falsetto on "Sherry," "Walk Like a Man" and other hits. Since "Jersey Boys," the Tony-winning 2006 Broadway musical based on the lives of the 1960s vocal group the Four Seasons, Valli has enjoyed a resurgence in concert. Tickets, priced from $53 to $103.50, will go on sale at noon Saturday at Ticketmaster outlets and the State Theatre box office.
