Former Vikings and Seahawk receiver Percy Harvin said he was high for every NFL game in which he played, and also took the blame for fights with Golden Tate and Doug Baldwin that helped lead to his departure from Seattle, during an interview published Wednesday by Bleacher Report.

In a video, Harvin says he used marijuana to deal with social anxiety and said he has gone public with his condition to try to erase any stigma.

"There was not a game I played in that I wasn't high," said Harvin, who played for the Vikings from 2009-'12 and the Seahawks in 2013 and five games into the 2014 season before being traded to the Jets.

Nagy out, Smith in

It came as no surprise when Bears coach Matt Nagy announced Chase Daniel will start at quarterback in place of injured Mitchell Trubisky in London against the Raiders.

The unexpected announcement actually came from Bears linebacker Roquan Smith when he said he plans to play against the Raiders on Sunday.

Smith missed the Bears' 16-6 victory over the Vikings for what Nagy had termed a "personal issue," and on Monday his status had been uncertain.

"I will play this week," Smith said with resolve.

Ramsey still out

Disgruntled Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey is missing his fifth consecutive practice.

Ramsey was listed on the injury report with a back injury, the same issue that caused him to miss the first game of his four-year NFL career.

Ramsey missed one practice last week because of an illness, another because of his back and then two more to be home for the birth of his second child. Ramsey rejoined the Jaguars in time to fly to Denver, but was unable to play against the Broncos. Ramsey has asked to be traded.

ia on Sunday uncertain.

NFL ratings up

NFL ratings through the first four weeks of the regular season have shown a 5% increase over last season.

According to the league and Nielsen, games are averaging 16.6 million viewers on television and digital platforms.

NBC's "Sunday Night Football" has shown the biggest jump among the weekly packages with a 6% increase. The average of 21.4 million viewers makes this the network's best start since 2016. The Dallas-New Orleans game Sunday averaged 24.7 million.

Fox's Sunday package is averaging 19 million (5% increase) and CBS is averaging 17.1 million (4% increase).

ESPN's "Monday Night Football" is averaging 11.6 million, which is even with last year.

Etc.

• The Patriots placed kicker Stephen Gostkowski on injured reserve. The franchise's all-time leading scorer, the 35-year-old has appeared in every game for New England since 2011. But he's struggled thus far in 2019, missing four extra points.

• Just 10 days after sustaining a high sprain to his right ankle, Giants running back Saquon Barkley worked out with a trainer and appeared to move well as the Giants got ready to practice for Sunday's game against the Vikings (2-2). There had been reports he might miss up to two months.

William V. Bidwill, who owned the NFL's Cardinals franchise in three cities, has died. He was 88. A cause of death wasn't immediately given.

• The Bengals put receiver John Ross III on injured reserve because of a shoulder problem.

• Browns linebacker Christian Kirksey underwent season-ending surgery to repair a torn pectoral muscle.

• The Cowboys' offensive line could be without both starting tackles Sunday against the Packers. Right tackle d La'el Collins is dealing with a back issue and left tackle Tyron Smith will miss the game after suffering a high ankle sprain last week.
