The Minnesota Homeownership Center said this morning that the number of preforeclosure notices received by its statewide foreclosure counselors has now fallen to its lowest level since 2008. The group said that during the second quarter 9,995 Minnesota homeowners received such preforeclosure notices, down 17 percent from the first quarter of 2012 and 25 percent from the same period last year.

The following chart shows that while the situation is improving statewide, that's not true in all counties. If you're looking for help, contact someone from the Homeownership Advisors Network received by visiting www.hocmn.org.
