Foo Fighters will rock your garage

One lucky Twin Cities winner will host concert on April 20.

Do you want the Foo Fighters to perform in your garage? For real. To celebrate the release of their return-to-garage-rock roots, the rockers will play garage concerts in eight North American markets, including the Twin Cities on April 20. Fans can enter by writing, in 25 words or less, why they want the group to rock their garage -- along with a photo of their garage. For details, go to www.foofightersgaragetour.com/contest. The winner will get to invite 50 friends, and 93X radio will sponsor a contest for additional concertgoers. The group is promoting its eighth album, "Wasting Light, -- out April 12 -- which was recorded in frontman Dave Grohl's garage in suburban Los Angeles with producer Butch Vig. JON BREAM
