A large storm system will bring heavy rain and a few strong storms Friday which can lead to some localized flooding across the Southeast. Portions of the Carolinas and Georgia could get a few inches of rain.

Flash flooding can be a concern with the heavy amount of rain that will fall in a short period of time. Roads may flood quickly under some of these embedded thunderstorms that will develop as the storm progresses.
