Fish are biting

Portage, Fish Hook doing well for fisherpersons. Walleyes biting on Light Northern minnows and a plain #2 hook! Crappies and panfish still like the waxworms.

Be extremely cautious on some lakes, reports of open cracks, and open water on a few lakes.
