Twin Cities hairstylists say the best fringe for your face depends on a number of features, including face shape, forehead size and hairline. Here are some general examples of bangs that work for various faces.

Squared: For someone with an angular face, such as Paris Hilton, stylists suggest a side-swept bang to round out the face.

Heart-shaped: Opt for a bang that draws attention away from the chin, so a longer, soft-edged bang is best. Think: Kerry Washington or Reese Witherspoon.

Round: A gently arching bang that is not too wide across the forehead works great with a round face. It helps give the face a more elongated look. Look at Rose Byrne or Taylor Swift's fringes for inspiration.

Oval: Almost any fringe looks great on a face like Zooey Deschanel's.
