SPIRIT AWARD SCREENINGS

If you didn't catch the galvanizing "Fruitvale Station" (above) or Oscar-nominated documentary "20 Feet From Stardom," now's your chance. Walker Art Center is screening nominees for the Independent Spirit Awards, the Academy Awards' indie-loving rebel sibling, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings through Feb. 12. Some are Oscar noms, as well, including "12 Years a Slave" and two more up for best doc, "The Act of Killing" and "The Square." Even though the Coen brothers got no love from Oscar this time around, "Inside Llewyn Davis" is up for the Indie Spirit best feature. Go to startribune.com/a2549 for the schedule.
