Fighting for the Powwow Trail

The Powwow Trail was damaged in the 2011 Pagami Creek Fire, cutting usage from 40 overnight permits annually to eight last year. The Forest Service has proposed a pause on trail maintenance, and some hikers fear it's slated for closure.
