Fast fabric Calico Corners said it has introduced a nationwide Quick Ship program for custom draperies, rods and pillows. The fabric store said it will turn around the custom panels, with or without interlining, in two weeks, available in six styles and more than 200 fabrics -- including some with a modern vibe that are not part of the store's regular stock. The fabrics, in six collections, include Indian silks, Belgian linens. cottons and poly blends, among others, and can be finished in lengths of 36 to 144 inches. Nine pillows and three rod choices, with several finishes, are also available. Angela LaBounty, who manages the Edina store, said a lined and interlined pinch-pleated silk panel, 84 inches long and about 40 inches wide would cost about $415; lined cotton panels are much less. See www.calicocorners.com for details or visit 7101 France Av. S. in Edina, 952-925-5600, to see a swatch book.

Notes Among management changes at International Market Square: Nicole Goodman has been promoted to the Minneapolis design center's marketing manager; she has helped coordinate IMS marketing since 2006. She replaces Darren Iverson, who said he has started an independent marketing business and will still consult with the center. Bud Cleator, former manager of the Minneapolis Schumacher showroom and an IMS vet, will manage the Design Connection; the center's program matches consumers with designers through whom the non-public showrooms can be accessed. Additionally, Lindsay Wlaschin has been named a marketing assistant and Katie Kenney the front desk concierge.
