Via's Voltage

Get your hands on fashions straight from the Voltage runway Thursday at Via's Vintage. It's your first chance to snag a handmade, one-of-a-kind piece by up-and-coming menswear designer Raul Osorio, whose spring collection is inspired by Spanish matador uniforms and Grecian draping. Vintage City Classics jewelry, which outfitted Frances Zerr's Voltage line, will also have its latest collection available. Via's is also having a rare sale on its meticulously handpicked collection of vintage clothing and accessories. The entire store (excluding trunk show items) will be 10 percent off for one day only.

Local "upcycling" line CounterCouture hosts a MNfashion Week event that's part clothing swap, part DIY workshop and part eco-friendly fashion show. For every piece of clothing or accessories you donate, you'll get a ticket to exchange for a new-to-you item. A sewing station will be available, and you can even have Anthem Heart screen-print an item for a mere $5. Stick around for a fashion show with fresh looks from CounterCouture, Je Ne Regrette Rien and Marissa Bridges.
