    Farmers market opens on renovated Nicollet Mall

    The Minneapolis Farmers Market opened for the first time since 2014 on the newly renovated stretch of Nicollet Mall. Passersby and downtown workers came out on the market's usual Thursday appearance to purchase produce, homemade goods and flowers from one of more than 60 farmers markets in the Twin Cities.
