Edina Realty president promoted to CEO

January 13, 2009 at 2:22AM

The president of Edina Realty, Bob Peltier, was named chief executive officer on Monday -- a promotion that will put him in charge of Edina Realty Home Services, which includes title services and a mortgage company. Peltier has served as Edina's president since 2002 and has been in the real estate business since 1978. During the past two years Edina Realty has acquired 17 firms throughout the Midwest in an attempt to expand its market share even at a time when the industry is contracting. That expansion was one of the factors in the decision to add CEO to his title, according to Ron Peltier, chairman and CEO of Edina's parent HomeServices of America.
