Longtime Edina Realty Home Services president and CEO, Bob Peltier, will be stepping down from day-to-day operations of the company and will become chairman emeritus, according to the Edina's parent company, HomeServices of America. Another long-time Edina executive, Greg Mason, will take over day-to-day operations. Mason was most recently general counsel of Edina Realty HomeServices, which includes the well-known Edina Realty brokerage and a mortgage, title, escrow and insurance business.

Peltier began his real estate career in 1978 and has held numerous executive leadership positions at Edina Realty before being named Edina Realty Home Services president and CEO in 2009.

Minneapolis-based HomeServices is an affiliate of Berkshire Hathaway and is the second-largest real estate company in the country. That company is run by Peltier's brother, Ron Peltier.
