JUNE 30

Dumping complaint. Someone reported a truck dumping an old desk on their property on the 2000 block of Nybeck Avenue.

Solicitor complaint. Someone called to complain about a couple of men selling steaks out of a dark green van on the 9000 block of 83rd Street N. The caller thought they were too pushy.

Injured deer. Police checked on a report of a deer hit by a car and staggering around on the road at Dellwood Road and Gateway Crossing. The officer was unable to find the animal.

Underage smoking. Someone called to report five teenagers smoking near the mailbox on the side of the Hugo 1 Stop building, 14815 Forest Blvd. N.

Found dog. A doberman mix, medium in size, brown with a blue collar was found on the 4000 block of 130th Street.

MAPLEWOOD

JUNE 29

Theft. A female suspect reportedly selected four boxes of feminine hygiene products and left Walgreens, 2515 White Bear Ave., without paying for them. The suspect yelled at an employee who tried to stop her and fled in a gray vehicle.

JUNE 30

Property damage. A patio window was reported broken on the 2400 block of Ariel Street. A liquor bottle was found amid the broken glass.

Theft. Someone reported lending his cell phone and cash to a friend he met at Maplewood Mall, 3001 White Bear Av. N. The items were never returned.

Theft. Someone reported the theft of items they brought into the Burlington Coat Factory, 1729 Beam Av., and left with an employee behind the counter. Apparently a woman standing in line behind the victim purchased an item, asked for the bags the store was holding for the victim, and left the store.

JULY 1

Illegal burn. Police responded to a report of an illegal fire smoking up the area on the 200 block of Moonlight Bay. The person who started the fire was advised and told police he would get a hose and extinguish the smoldering fire.

OAKDALE

JUNE 29

Curfew violation. A 15-year-old boy was found walking on the 600 block of Hadley Avenue and cited for a curfew violation. He was released to his father.

False reporting of a crime. A 25-year-old man reported that two shotguns and a radar detector were stolen from his vehicle. Upon further investigation an officer determined the report to be false. The man admitted as much and said he had planned on filing a report with an insurance company. He was cited and released.

Theft. Landscaping fountains, benches and coffee tables valued at $2,109 were reported stolen from Patio Town, 6300 Hwy. 36.

STILLWATER

JULY 3

Malicious mischief. A man called to report that someone had removed his daughter's two bikes from their yard on the 300 block of Wilkins Street and put them in the bushes at the end of the street.

JULY 2

Vehicle for sale on city street. A person on the 800 block of Everett Drive was given a warning citation for having a car for sale parked on the street.

STILLWATER TOWNSHIP

JULY 1

Trespassing complaint. Three or four people were reported on the private part of the beach at Little Carnelian Park. An officer checked and found people on the public beach and water area and nobody trespassing on the private beach.
