Most summer blockbusters are just puffed-up drive-in movies, so it's appropriate that the Twin Cities' newest outdoor screen debuts with a double dose of explosive extravagance. Champions Drive-In Theater at Elko Speedway leads with "Edge of Tomorrow," in which alien invaders kill Tom Cruise 200 times but still can't keep him down. Emily Blunt looks on with that sexy, disapproving pout of hers. After intermission, it's "Godzilla," levelling San Francisco like a bully kicking down sand castles. Next week it's "How to Train Your Dragon 2" followed by "X-Men: Days of Future Past." Enjoy it while the weather lasts. (Gates open at 7:30 p.m. except on race nights, $4-$9, kids 3 and under free. Following Saturday races, movie admission is included with a race ticket. After 9 p.m. on race nights, tickets are $3-$7, Champions Drive-In Theater, Elko Speedway, west of the Elko-New Market exit on Interstate 35.) COLIN COVERT
