Grammy-winning rapper/hip-hop performer Drake is bringing his fall arena concert tour to Minneapolis in October, promoters announced Monday.
The date is Oct. 5 for the Target Center show, with tickets (prices yet to be determined) going on sale at 10 a.m. June 28 through all of the usual Ticketmaster and LiveNation.com outlets.
The tour begins Sept. 25, in Portland, Ore., working its way east across Drake's native Canada, and was announced as the recording artist is scheduled to release his latest album, "Nothing Was the Same," later this year.
Drake's 12 No. 1 singles on Billboard's Hot Rap Songs chart are the most of any performer.
Joining Drake on the tour are R&B performer Miguel and rapper Future.
