Do you have ready access to fresh produce? Not everyone does in the Twin Cities.
LaDonna Redmond wants to help make fresh food more accessible to everyone. She's the founder of Campaign for Food Justice Now, which promotes healthy food systems in all communities. She has given TEDxTalks on the subject in both the Twin Cities and New York City.
LaDonna will speak about the challenges of urban communities and fresh food at a talk on Wednesday, July 13, at 6:30 p.m. at the American Swedish Institute, 2600 Park Av., Mpls.; 612-871-4907.
For reservations, go online. Tickets are included with museum admission, which is $10 for nonmembers; free for members.
