MINNEAPOLIS — Authorities say they've found the body of a 43-year-old man who went missing while swimming in Lake Harriet in Minneapolis.
The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office says divers found and recovered the man's body shortly after 2 a.m. Monday. The sheriff's office says he was swimming near a floating dock in the lake around 6:30 p.m. Sunday when he went underwater and didn't resurface.
Crews searched for the man into the night, suspending their efforts for a short time due to lightning.
The sheriff's office says the man's name will be released by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office.
