The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources’ skill-building “I Can!” series is taking on mountain biking again.
Events are planned July 25 and Aug. 29 at Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area near Ironton, Minn.
“We have a real good variety of trails here. We’ve got the easy stuff, we have the intermediate, and we have the advanced. Anyone can get a good experience riding here at the rec area,” park manager Steve Weber said.
Each day there will be three sessions for up to 12 riders. Registration is $25 and includes use of a helmet and bike. Children must be at least 10 years old, and reservations are required. Call 1-866-857-2757 or go online to www.mndnr.gov/reservations.
Weber said the trails are in good condition despite the damaging area storm July 12.
