Good morning from Day 2 of the NHL Draft. Rounds 2-7 start at 9 a.m. CT.

From today's newspaper, here is today's main story on Joel Eriksson Ek and the latest in the Devan Dubnyk/Mikael Granlund negotiations that could be wrapping up today.

Here's the Mike Reilly signing story.

And here's the notebook on the Wild looking for a goalie in today's draft, Brock Boeser going to Vancouver and odds and ends.

As you can read in the main, GM Chuck Fletcher hoped to take another stab at the Dubnyk/Granlund negotiations last night after the draft and this morning and would love to have both done today.

Fletcher joked that if it's not done by the start of the draft, not having a third- and fifth-round pick today would give him some blocks to get back with agents Mike Liut and Todd Diamond.

The Wild was hoping to sign Dubnyk to a four-year deal and Granlund to a two- or three-year deal. We will see. Dubnyk wanted eight years and it looks like they settle at six.

More later.
