Point guard Tyrell Terry, who averaged 17 points and seven assists as a junior at DeLaSalle, announced that he will attend Stanford.

The 2019 four-star prospect also considered Baylor, Indiana, Minnesota and Xavier, among others.

Terry announced his commitment in this Twitter video.

Terry is the second DeLaSalle player to choose Stanford in recent years. Forward Reid Travis played at Stanford before announcing that he will go elsewhere for his final season of college eligibility as a graduate transfer.

Travis averaged 19.5 points and 8.7 rebounds per season last season.

Terry and Travis were part of DeLaSalle teams that won six straight Class 3A titles in Minnesota until the streak was snapped in March when Columbia Heights upset the islanders in the semifinals.

The remaining schedule is favorable, but their hopes of a late-season run were dulled by a home loss to the Terrapins.
