Defensive tackle Noah Shannon decommits from Gophers

Noah Shannon, a consensus three-star recruit, announced Sunday he has decommitted from the Gophers.

Noah Shannon, a consensus three-star defensive tackle from Oswego, Ill., decommitted from the Gophers and re-opened his recruitment Sunday.

Shannon made the announcement on Twitter, saying, "Minnesota remains a top school for me, but I have decided to reopen my recruiting process."
